Hello again ladies, lest talk acne this week, like many women out there acne has many various causes. Whether it be environmental, stress, allergies, or the ever present hormonal changes we all have had our bouts with acne at one time or another. Like many of you I have tried everything I can get my hands on. From over the counter products, prescriptions, to those TV ads. I have used Proactive, which worked well when I was a teen and in my twenties, I have used Avon's professional skin care line, worked well but soon my skin built up an immunity to it. I have used Clearasil, Olay, Clean & Clear, Noxzema, and the high end Murad. It has take years for me to find just the right combination of products for my skin, which is dry to oily and sometimes even sensitive and stubern acne. I know they (being the industry) says not to do this but hey what ever works, works. I use different products to make up my "system" ......1 I start with Clean & Clear's Advantage acne cleanser with 2% sailcylic acid, and three times a week I exfoliate with St. Ives Naturally clear green tea scrub. 2 I use Clean & Clear's Deep cleaning astringent with 1% to 2% sailcylic acid.3 I use Murad's exfoliating acne treatment gel with 1% sailcyclic acid. 4 I use Clean & Clear's Dual action Moisturizer. 5 Then I use Arcona's vitamin A complex serum (see my first review).6 on my cheeks and forehead only, I use H2O Plus' Oasis Hydrating Treatment.
Ok I know 6 products is a lot, but I don't use all of them every day...... #3 I use only when my acne is at it's worst, big pustules and redness or when I have been really stressed out, #5 only every other day and as I stated the scrub only three times a week. I only buy products every two months so I am not spending a lot of money all at once.
My advice is to try a number of products and combinations there of and build your own "system" based on your skin type, your likes, and your wallet. Bellow are a few picture of the products I spoke of.

Hello there beauty lovers,
Sense my last two post were higher end items I thought I would bring you a more affordable option for your feet. I have a Friday night ritual that never ceases to impress me. As a Avon rep here in Montana the winters are rough on the skin, and while our feet are spent most of if not all of the day in boots, heels, snickers, or just running barefoot in the house. We never really seem to take extra care of this little body part that does soo much of us on an daily basis. These are my fave products form Avon, Footworks Lavender Collection, includes The Lavender foot soak, Lavender Foot scrub, the Lavender Clay mask and Lavender Overnight Foot cream.

My Friday night ritual is a home pedi, I use my Hometics foot massager and Foot bath, before I add the Lavender foot soak, I like to drizzle it around the foot tub once or twice (depending on how stressful the week was.) Then I add the hottest watter I can stand and let it bubble up into suds for a little while. When I think it has cooled down enough, I'll grab a magazine, book, or movie and soak my kicks for about 30min, or till the water is no longer warm. The scrub comes next, after drying my feet thoroughly, I apply generous amount of scrub to my foot and massaging it all over, I do this quite vigorously, and then rise it of in the foot soak, dry and repeat on other foot. When completed on other foot, I then apply the Mask, ( I suggest going to the restroom in between these steps, trust me I learned the hard way, lol) once again I apply the clay mask all over my feett, a generous amount works best, but a thin layer will dry faster. Wait until dry, about 30min or so depending on the thickness applied. By this time the whole room will be filled with the sweet, calming smell of lavender blossoms and you should feel relaxed and pampered. When the mask had dried once again rinse both feet and apply the Overnight lavender foot cream and a cozy pair of socks. You will wake up to new feet and a greater appreciation for what they do for you all the time.

You can order the products at Avon's site http://www.avon.com/
or through me at www.youravon.com/wconklin
Easch product veries in price but none are higher than $5.00 (usd)

Hello again, I had a hard time trying to decide what I wanted reView next........ I have been trying a LOT of new products in the last month, makeup, skin care, and hair care, I just could not pick one. So I went with what had the most impact on me and my hair. I have dry, damaged, and even course at times (mainly in the winter.)

This is Wen by Chaz Dean (a cleansing conditioner), my sister received this in her Voxbox a while back and she liked it so well she shared it with me, and OMG this was Hairgasmic, it made my hair baby soft, silky, and very manageable.  The sent is awesome (must like mint) it reminded me of the many spa treatments I have had with aromatherapy, SENTasic!! I was in love with it so much that I HAD to give it back or I would have used it up in no time at all. So looking forward to getting my own. I if had to chose a down side it would have to be the lack of size, yes 12 oz. is great but it would nice to have an economy size, living in a rural area I am not able to travel to the nearest city to pick it up often. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!!

You can go to the web site www.wenhaircare.com and order form the or find a site.

I just had to sure one of my most fabulous finds, it is for your skin (face),  I have very dry, sometimes flaky skin and is also acne prone. Arcona Vitamin A complex Serum (http://www.drugstore.com/arcona-vitamin-a-complex-repair-pm/qxp166826?catid=12996&fromsrch=arcona+vitimin+a+serum&N=0) is one of the best high end products I had the pleasure to use, after just two uses I saw amazing results, brighter skin tone, less redness, less acne, and no more dryness, after a month of use I had a whole new face, reminiscent of my younger years. LOVE, Love this! It is a bit pricey at 1.17oz  for $68.00 (not including shipping.) But is well worth it.

Thanks to my sister, I have started another blog about all the beauty, bath, food, and house hold items I deem worthy enough to buy, try and fall in love with. My opinions are that mine influenced by only me, don't let people, trends or money determine what I like, love, and can live without, all on a budget, with only a few exception were I will not compromise price for Quality that includes high end brands that cant be beat. If you want an opinion then you come to the right place, I always have one,.... or two,..... or three (LOL).
